The Technical Support Analyst will resolve technical issues regarding project work environment and development environment.
The Technical Support Analyst will resolve technical issues regarding project work environment and development environment.
This will include:
  • Workstation support for Windows 7, 8.1, and 10; server support assistance for Windows 2008,

Windows 2012, Windows 2016, Hyper V, SCCM, iSCSI; printer support; tool support for version control tools, office automation tools, web development tools, and mail servers.
  • Network support assistance for firewall, routers, ip addressing, and DNS
  • Phone support for Cisco Call Manager administration
  • Inventory tracking disposal
  • Hardware support for workstations, laptops, servers, UPS, printers, and storage arrays
  • On-Call support expected during evening hours and over the weekend.

  • Windows Workstation Support managing and creating trouble tickets
  • Tools Support for MS Office, MS SharePoint, and MS Exchange
  • Off Hours Technical Support Assistance with server maintenance and administration

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree (with graduation date no later than May 2017) with a strong track record of academic performance (2.8 or higher cumulative GPA); or, 4 Years of Military Experience
  • At least 1 year of experience in Windows Desktop Support or Server Support

Preferred Qualifications
  • Preferred majors in Computer Sciences/Computer Engineering or related major
  • Ability to troubleshoot basic hardware and software issues (MS Office, email, Internet access, printer drivers, etc.)
  • Knowledge of Active Directory concepts and administration
  • Skilled at guiding remote users through technical instructions
  • Strong communication (oral and written, interpersonal and relationship-building skills)
  • Good organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills
  • Knowledge of Active Directory concepts and administration
  • Experience providing Network support in a client facing environment
  • Eagerness to contribute in a team-oriented environment
  • Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
  • Desire to work in an information systems environment
  • Demonstrated leadership in a professional setting; either military or civilian
  • Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration in a professional setting; either military or civilian
